BIG - Brisbane

Our Brisbane Location – South Bank Piazza Auditorium

The South Bank Piazza is one of Brisbane’s most unique venues.

Nestled within the heart of Brisbane City, the semi-enclosed amphitheater boasts capacity for over 2000 people, with views directly overlooking the Brisbane River.

The Piazza has been called home by some of Brisbane’s most cherished events, originally designed as a key venue for Expo 88 when South Bank played host to over 15 million visitors, and countless events since.

Surrounded by recently renovated gardens, some of Brisbane’s leading restaurants and cafés, and only a moment’s walk from South Brisbane station, the Piazza is a perfect choice for BIG 2021.

Utilising the venue as a canvass upon which the expert BIG Team has created a show quite unlike any other the ballet world has ever experienced.
