Ballet has taken Nenekia Yoshida all around the world. She first started dance training at the age of 3 at the Keiko Miyanishi Ballet Studio in Japan before travelling, at the young age of 15, across the globe to begin professional training in Paris – with Dominique Khalfouni. This soon led to a move to Spain, where in 2010 Neneka studied with the Fundacion Para la Danza, prior to acceptance into the Conervatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in 2011. Here Neneka had the privilege to be taught by ballet icons Claude de Vulpian and Celine Talon. It was in 2014 when Neneka first made her move to Australia, joining the Queensland Ballet as a Jette Parker Young Artist. At Queensland Ballet she excelled, quicly being promoted to Company Artist in 2015, Soloist in 2018, Senior Soloist in 2019, and in 2021 Neneka was promoted to Principal Artist with the Company.
